Volunteering

Why volunteer with us?

Voluntary Action Camden has a long established and successful role in supporting the voluntary and charitable sector in Camden. We are able to offer varied volunteering opportunities to people wanting to improve their skills whilst doing something constructive to support the local community and voluntary sector in Camden.

Volunteering with VAC can offer you an opportunity to:

  • Improve and develop your skills
  • Meet new people
  • Gain experience to help you get into paid employment
  • Give something back to the community
  • Improve your English
  • Integrate into the community
  • Develop new interests
  • Fill your spare time
  • And finally….. have fun in a nice friendly office

What do volunteers say about their time with us?

It is great to work at VAC – although a challenging learning curve, all staff members are very nice and helpful. This is giving me an opportunity to develop my skills to face the work environment in the very near future.

It has been a pleasure to do this project. I hope we do not loose contact, you can count on me if any project comes along.
