New training fees apply from 1 May 2008
As we announced in our last Voluntary Matters, from April 2008 some of VAC's services are only available to members and other services will be provided to members at a reduced rate. One of the services affected by this change is our training programme. Please see the tables below for details of our new training fees.
If you are not a member of VAC and would like to be a member to have access to all VAC’s services and significantly discounted training fees, please contact VAC on 020 7284 6550 or 020 7284 6553 for a membership form. In house/customised training fees:
If you would like VAC to offer in-house, customised training for your staff members, volunteers or trustees, the following charges now apply as of 1 May 2008. VAC members receive a 50% discount on the full fee payable by non-members, as the table below illustrates.

VAC will be able to deliver training to a maximum of 15 staff members in your organisation for a day’s training. If you would like a half-day in-house, customised training, the fees will be halved.
Training at VAC premises:
Our new fees for VAC training at our premises are as outlined in the table below for non-members only. For VAC members the fee is currently £10 until 1 June and thereafter, it will be £15.

Consultancy:
If you need a consultant to work on a specific priority area such as developing a fundraising strategy or a business plan for your organisation, VAC is available to provide this service and will work with your organisation on a consultancy basis. The first 5 hours of consultancy will be free to organisations and this work will be to prepare an assessment of your needs with a proposal. Thereafter an hourly rate of £39 will be charged for the consultancy work to be carried out.

Training Booking Policy
- Every participant/delegate from an organisation must complete a booking form to be able to attend training.
- Administrative booking fee of £15 is required for all trainings. For organisations who are not a member of Voluntary Action Camden(VAC) other fees may apply see above information or please contact the Staff/Training Officer at VAC.
- Acknowledgement of bookings and confirmations will only be made by email.
- Any cancellation or alteration must be in writing within a week. Non- cancellation and no show up will result in an additional charge of £10.
- For all day trainings you should attend the whole session.
- Participants, who just attend part of the training session for any reason, will not receive a Certificate of Attendance.
- Admission of participants, who arrive late for more than half hour to the course, is subject to trainer's discretion.
- Please keep a copy of the booking form for your records and the booking form can be used as an invoice requisition if need be.
