Safeguarding/Child Protection Training 2009

Voluntary Action Camden (VAC), in partnership with Camden Safeguarding Children Board (CSCB), is running a one day Child Protection Training in line with the recommendations of the London Child Protection Committee.

The one-day training event has been designed for all staff working with statutory agencies and voluntary and community organisations that have contact with children through the normal course of their duties.

Course Framework:

This training is based on the NSPCC’s ‘Safeguarding Children – a shared responsibility’, and will use as reference material the Department of Health Guidance ‘What to Do If You Are Worried a Child Is Being Abused’ and ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children

Please note that the training scheduled for the 17th December 2008 has been cancelled.

The venue for all the 2009 training days is Voluntary Action Camden 293-299 Kentish Town Road, London NW5 2TJ, time 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. We particularly encourage small and emerging groups and faith communities to apply.
