Information & Publications

Ensuring voluntary and community groups have access to timely and useful information is a key part of our work. We use a number of methods to keep groups up to date with the issues that matter to them, including:

VAC library

Our up-to-date library has useful publications and resources for groups to use, including the ‘Grantfinder’ software programme to help with funding searches.  You can call us in advance to book a visit to our library.  This is especially important if you would like a member of staff to help you in your search for information as we cannot always guarantee that the person you need to see will be available.

Voluntary Matters

Our quarterly newsletter offers news, practical information and features highlighting the good work taking place in the sector. Groups are welcome to submit articles or to suggest items for inclusion.  Follow this link for more information.

Weekly E-Bulletins

We have established a new weekly news bulletin to help keep the sector up-to-date with what’s happening locally and nationally.  Groups are asked to submit items for inclusion by emailing Kevin Nunan at VAC – the deadline is Thursday at 2pm each week (knunan@vac.org.uk).  You should also contact Kevin if you would like to subscribe to the e-bulletin.

www.vac.org.uk

We hope you will find this website a great place for catching up with VAC and other local news, or for downloading pdf versions of VAC reports, publications, newsletters and other useful resources.  We have set up a library page that gives you access to many of these resources.  We always welcome your feedback.  Click here if you have any feedback on our website.
