Community Partnership

Our Community Partnership Project aims to improve our ability to keep Camden’s children safe.  It does this by:

  • helping organisations work better together – particularly statutory bodies, local community organisations and faith communities;
  • supporting communities to be aware and responsive to child protection issues and procedures;
  • building knowledge in areas of violence to children that affect particular communities (eg. honour violence; child trafficking; spirit possession and female genital mutilation).

The work of the project involves information gathering; awareness-raising; training; and supporting groups to develop effective child-safeguarding policies and procedures.  Please click here to download a flier that gives more information about the support available through the project.
