Information & Networking Sessions
From January 2011, VAC has been running quarterly Mental Health Information & Networking Sessions. These Sessions are open to the Camden-wide community, including community organisations, service providers and service users.
The decision to run these Sessions followed discussions with the local community and is in response to the need for a place for people to meet others with an interest in mental health issues, and to have an opportunity to discuss these issues with one another.
Speakers at the Sessions will include service providers explaining their services, community organisations highlighting their communities’ mental health needs and perceptions, and service users speaking about their experiences. There will also be plenty of opportunity for networking at these Sessions.
If you are a community organisation, service provider or service user and you would like to give a presentation at one of our forthcoming Information & Networking Sessions, please contact Jocelyn Devlin as soon as possible. Please also contact Jocelyn if your organisation would like to host a Session at your premises.
The dates for future Sessions are:
- Tuesday 17 April 2012, 10am – 12pm (Venue: Crowndale Centre)
- July 2012 (date TBC)
